The March Hare

March 1 is almost here and I am thinking bunny rabbits. I am very excited about an on-line class that I will be taking from the well known artist, Nancy Malay.We will be making this adorable rabbit from paper clay. I have never used clay before and am looking forward to this new adventure. The class starts on Tuesday,March 2nd. Quilt Show

The Mid Atlantic Quilt show is nearly here. It will be held at the Hampton Convention Center February 24-28. I will be teaching 2 bearmaking classes, actually, one bear and one rabbit.Here are their pictures. Both classes are full but I hope that you will visit me in my booth #1312

The Storm is Over

Everything is so beautiful today after the all day snow storm yesterday.I know that you folks up north are shaking your heads in dismay. Here is Virginia, however, we are thrilled as snow is so rare here. I finally got UGA off the porch. I guess that he was not as thrilled as I was.

The Mad Hatter's Hat

I love the story of Alice in Wonderland and all the kooky characters.I was inspired to make a little rabbit to sit in the Mad Hatter's Hat. You can read all about him in the new Arts a Flutter which will come out on February 1. http://www.artsaflutter.com/ch1.html

Snow and More

There is so much excitement here in Norfolk, VA. We are finally getting a huge snow storm. We are expecting at least a foot of snow. My only problem is getting my Bull Dog, UGA, to get off the porch. Another Elephant

When the January issue of PFATT Marketplace was published on Sunday, I had 3 little cuties for sale. Although they all sold right away, the most popular was the pink elephant.
